Alisar Awwad faces the unique reality of being amongst a handful of Ithaca College students that is affected by the travel ban. Along with this, she now holds the position of being the International Senator of the Student Governing Council (SGC) at Ithaca College.
Her new role will help her tackle the personal issues she and many other international students face today.
